05 Jan Nikki Highlights —- Trust Yourself & Shine by Nikki Cates-Hayes
It’s simply a commonality that women find amongst themselves. A lack of confidence.
To add a little twist to it is to acknowledge that many times we may be confident about a certain aspect of ourselves or our lives yet be totally distraught and fearful of other aspects. I don’t think I’ve met a single woman who does not have that see saw of self confidence going on in some kind of way. I’m here today to tell you that it’s all a trust-factor.
Whether you’re lacking the confidence about making a speech, doing an interview, writing a blog post, meeting new people, or becoming a mother the missing factor in your situation is a trust in yourself and in any help you may think you do or do not have. Basically what I am saying is this…if you’re bubbling on the inside of your soul with a passion for a cause, an excitement about a product or service, or a love for someone or something without even thinking about it this will come out in your words, actions, and reactions. So, in the event that you are put on the spot during an interview or you’re looking for words to share in a blog post or conversation, simply availing yourself to the opportunity of what you have brewing on the inside of yourself is what will come pouring out.
Granted, let’s remember that this is also applicable to the negative side also. If all you have brewing within is hatred, bitterness, anger, disappointment, confusion, and all things nasty and cruel then that is what you will reveal. No matter how much you try to hide it, it will be revealed. This is why personal development is so crucial to success. To confront the root of these barriers will reveal ways of healing and overcoming which in turn will leave you open to all the wonderful things that you take in through life’s experiences, your surroundings, those around you, what you read, hear, and see.
Remember, courage(doing it afraid) will kick fears butt all the way back to Timbuktu. It simply takesyour own personal landscaping to ensure that what is on the inside of you will come out shining bright, inspiring, and motivating. In order to shine like a diamond you must let the preparation process take place. No matter how much dirt you put on that diamond, it will still shine beautifully, uniquely, and valuably as a carefully cut and polished diamond.
Trust in who you are and let you be revealed beyond the doubt, fear, and hesitation. Someone out here in the world needs to see you. It’s your call. Choose. Act. Shine.
BE ENCOURAGED. BE EMPOWERED. BE HAPPY.
